 sims 2 game freezing, have 64 bit laptop Hey, i was hoping i could get some help here. my mother got me a new laptop. its a 64 bit and runs on windows vista. The only game i have loaded onto it is the sims 2 along with a couple expanstion packs. the game loads fine, pretty quickly i should say. However, when in the middle of creating a family or trying to save the new family, my computer will freeze up. I have tried running the game with no other programs running at the same time. I have tried just about everything. I had emailed with the guys at EA games back and forth and their suggestions didn't help. I have even dowloaded direct x 10. And still, the game continues to freeze. I just want to play my game. Can you help me?  |
