My desktop is an eMachines model #W4685 that came preloaded with
windows xp Home Edition, so I do not have an XP disc. It has an Intel Pentium 4 processor and an INtel 865GE chipset. The system also has
windows xp System Pack 2 installed. My problem is that the PC will not got past the Windows logo screen. When I enter any of the Safe Modes (normal, networking, control panel), I get a blue screen that says that my video driver did not initialize. When I use the last configuration settings option, the PC just reboots. When I go to the restore option, it says that Autochk is not available for Raw drives. And if I choose any other options, I'm led to a c000021a fatal system error. Prior to the problem, I had download a trial of Windows Live Onecare, it detected 3 trojans. It got rid of one of them, but then said that I had to restart in order to get rid of the other two. When I restarted, the problem began. What should I do?
