Default Is a 4870 1 gig worth it for 1280x1024 res?

So I'm still double and triple checking all the parts, to make sure I don't spend anymore than I need to, so here's the run down:Originally I was going to buy a widescreen monitor, but I don't need to, because it turns out that I found one that I had lying around, that was actually pretty nice. I forget why I stopped using it.So now I'm not going to be buying another monitor for a very long time, which means the res I'm using (keep gaming in mind) won't be anything but 1280x1024. I want to be able to play everything maxed, including Crysis, at this setting, which I don't think is too lofty of a goal, at least as things stand now.But now the debate I'm having is I don't know which is more worth it, 9800GTX+ or 4870 1 gig. Especially with that PhysX wildcard thrown in, I don't know which one would be a better investment future wise. On the other hand, I've heard we're starting to hit that point where 512mb isn't cutting it.Thoughts? Etc?
