ok, so...I have a 19" 5:4 display native at 1280x1024I'm trying to get it to display 1280x720 or even 1920x1080. The monitor is conencted by dual link DVI and supports it fine. HOWEVER, I cannot get the nvidia scaling to work right. I turned off scaling. 1280x720 scales to full screen output. I'm at 1280x800, and it has the letterboxes like I want. ditto at 1280x960. But 1280x720, 1280x1024, 1024x768, and such are all full screen- wether they're supposed to be or not. What did i miss, that lets 1280x800 be letterboxed, but 1280x720 and 1920x1080 are fullscreen?I'm just doing it to play around with the different widescreen settings and such.
