 4870 1gb catalyst 8.9 problems Hi all, Has anyone else had trouble with a 4870 powercolor 1Gb and the new Catalyst 8.9 driver? I've just built my new pc, and after installing the latest 8.9 catalyst driver, I get a black screen, or Crysis crashes within 1 minute, I've had BSOD with Driver IRQL not less or Equal a few times I've tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling several times, but don't seem to have any stability when I download catalyst or try to run a game. When I remove the driver, my pc works absolutely fine so this is what makes me think its the card/driver... I'm running it on Vista 64 bit, Asus P5Q Deluxe mobo, Intel quad core 9550, 4 gb corsair 8500, 850w PSU Any ideas anyone? Many thanks  |
