| Hello, I wish to purchase a high end video card to allow for proper use in a new software package I' am evaluating. I have downloaded an evaluation copy of Autodesk Maya, which I wish to begin evaluating. The software company has indicated that the software supports the following: ATI FireGL V series video cards and Nvidia Quadro FX video cards. I have looked for both on the internet and I have found that the Nvidia cards are higher priced. The ATI FireGL 5100 and 5200, 7100 and 7200 vs the Nvidia Quadro FX 4400, 4500 I noticed there was a ram difference of 256 and 512. I guess I would like to have some suggestions and reviews regarding both makers, as I would like to get the bigest bang for my buck |
