Today i purchased a Asus EAX1950 Pro 256MB video card http://uk.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=...11&modelmenu=2 and unstalled the old drivers, done driver clean in safe mode and then started up and installed lastest drivers. Card is being detected from different programmes but i am having problems with restarts and boot ups. as i was doing the install and when prompted to restart etc my computer wouldnt. It would stay on as if wanted to but nothing on the power up on my screen like usual, just an amber light as if on standby still. I have to then manually turn it off and then back on again to get it started and even then there's a long pause before anything happens. as far as aware ive placed it in and wired it correctly, i noticed there was a 6pin on the card this time which my old cards never had them so i put in my PCIe1 cable from my psu into it. my psu is OCZ 600W StealthXStream http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...m_power_supply. my last card was a 7300GT PCIe with no problems just now when i put this new card in.any ideas on whats going on or have i changed bootup settings by accident?
