Today when I started playing a game, the monitor went to sleep so I forced a shutdown. When I turned the computer back on, it gave me a beep sequence which I found what it is:---Quote---1 long, 2 short Failure in video system An error was encountered in the video BIOS ROM, or a horizontal retrace failure has been encounteredhttp://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/amibeep.htm---End Quote---I had to try starting it up 3 times before the monitor showed up and in between I reseated the card. Haven't tried it yet but could that help? Is the video card BIOS saved inside the actual video card? or on my hd?Thanks!
