| I recently purchased the nvidia 8600 gt graphics card. I followed the instructions about uninstalling my current video card software. However, each time i did so, it would tell me to restart. when i restarted it would automatically re-install the software. so i went to control panel/display/settings/advanced/adapter/properties/disablethen i restarted my computer. It ran fine. So i shut it down and replaced the card. nothing shows up on the screen. so i replaced my old video card. nothing shows up again. I can't do anything with my computer because nothing shows up on the screen no matter what video card i have in the slot. I cant just start clean because there is no xp cd with my computer, you're supposed to use the preinstalled programs if you want to wipe everything, but i cant even see the screen so i cant use those programs. any help is appreciated. |
