Default Could my graphics card be at fault?

well i recently made some upgrades (2 GB ram, StealthXStream 600W PSU and an XFX GeForce 9800GTX)i have a problem though...my moniter will not display anything; however, everything else seems to be working fine. I suspect my graphics card...the moniter will not turn on when i have the 2x 6pin PCIe auxiliary power connectors, well, connected to my graphics card. But when i remove this connection, and allow my integrated graphics card (GeForce 6200LE? i cant remember but its no good)to take over, the whole machine runs fine.I connected my GeForce 9800GTX and let my computer run with the side panel open and every light that should have been on was on, every fan that should have been moving was moving, there was audio, but no visual. I've read lots of threads of this sort but they usually say, try cleaning the ram or removing X from Y etc etc, but basic logic suggests that this problem stems from the graphics card, but what kind of problem could this be? any insight into this matter would be oh soooo appreciated
