Hiya - would just like to say what a great forum this is before I divulge my problem!I have a HP Pavillion a.145.uk running on Windows XP. I believe it has an on-board graphics card as I cannot see a separate one. Some time ago the screen suddenly stopped working, we automatically assumed it was the graphics card. We have bought a PNY GeForce graphics card and have put it in to the PC, which doesnt work. Im not very handy when it comes to hardware, etc. I understand that I need to disable the on-board card? If so, I cannot do so because I cant see anything on my screen to do so? It's so frustrating and I dont seem to be getting anywhere, so would be very grateful if somone can offer me some advice please. Many thanks, Dan
