I have an HP Pavillion ze4400 laptop. I'm running windows xp home SP2.I can hear CDs and music from Itunes but I can't hear regular sounds like when my laptop starts up, or if I get an instant message, or something from Youtube.I checked the mute light and it's not lit up... even when I push it it won't light up anymore. When I look under "Sounds and Devices Properties" it says No Audio Device and therefore won't let me change the volume. Under Device Manager and "Sound, video and game controllers" I have Audio Codecs, Conexant AC-Link Audio, and Legacy Audio Drivers. They all say they're working properly. I tried rolling back the drivers but it wouldn't let me.Do I need to install new drivers? If so, which ones? I'm using the same sound card that came with the laptop. This problem may have started after I downloaded drivers for my Labtec webcam. I uninstalled them but still no sound.Thanks...
