Hi all, I have little to no knowledge in this area. Have a question for you. Maybe you can help. I have a laptop with wireless capability but my desktop hasn't and is connected via a cable to a router which has wireless capabilities. The laptop uses a wireless connection to the router. Is there a way to network so I can share files between pc and laptop? Would I get a wireless adapter of some sort for the pc? Since we are both using the same router is there a way to use the router to share files? This all probibly sounds dumb but as I say I have never looked into this end of things. If its of any use I have a Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC. The desktop has xp pro and laptop is Vista Home edition. Thanks for any help in advance.
