i know very few things about networking.It has net but not working for me:4-dontkno.i have tp-link 8840 adsl router.I have connected 2 computer in its back ports.given them 2 names 192.168.1.2 and .3 router is 192.168.1.1.Now when i ping 192.168.1.3 from .2 request timed out. How do i connect them? Internet working fine in both.Somebody suggested telnet what command in telnet?Default gateway is 192.168.1.1 i tried to change it but then internet stopped helpoh i got this entered in telnet route 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.1 not working though.i have no idea what this isi can't see 192.168.1.3 computer help! what am i missing here?
