| Hi All, Having problem connecting to an existing wireless network. I am using a Cisco 350 series wireless PCMIA card and trying to connect to a Belkin router the OS is windows xp /sp2. The problem is that it see's the network with a very strong signal, but when I attempt to connect it tries to connect to the network but after about 30 seconds it claims it cannot connect to the network because it is 'out of range', it is pretty obvious that it is well within range. The funny thing is that it can connect to other wireless networks which are within in range no problem. I dont think it is a security problem because it is doesn't even give me the option of enteringg my encryption/passwords, I have ensured that TCP/IP options are set to automatic, and I have also tried assigining it a static IP address and that still doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
