 New CPU K, I just bought a new CPU upgrade from my Single Core AMD 3500+ to a AMD 3800 Dual Core. The slot is 939 (yes i know old, trying to squeeze every last second out of my current system). I have a 500 Watt PSU and am just wondering what I will need to do to install this new CPU when it arrives. How exactly is a BIOS update done? Will I need to buy a new fan for my new CPU or can I just use the one from the 3500? Just for a bit of extra info I am currently running an EVGA 8800 512mb gpu and 2 gigs for RAM. Thanks in advance!  |
