Default no boot from cd

ok, i just bought a new elitegroup GeForce6100PM-M@ motherboard with 4 GB corsair DDR2and a AMD 64 X2 5600+ doul core processor. The Problem:Everything starts up fine till i get to the point where it says boot from CD:I want it to boot from the cd, which by the way work, i tested in another computer, but it gets held up at boot from cd. It does not say press enter to boot from CD like it should. So what could be holding this up because im sure some of you know the feeling of getting something new and not being able to use it becuase something doesnt go right. so what could be the problem?
