| _Previous Thread_ (http://www.techsupportforum.com/hard...off.html)After much tinkering and trying things, I finally got into the bios long enough for me to catch a glimpse of what my CPU temp is. CPU Temp: 92 Degrees Celsius / 197 Degrees FahrenheitThe Temp starts at about 80 C and then climbs every second. Now, I KNOW that is way too hot. Which confirms my beliefs that the PC shuts down due to overheating safety. I have re-applied Artic Silver 5 several times, cleaned it well off each time before I reapplied. I followed the instructions on the AS5 website. Heatsink is secured. Through the human eye, the HSF looks like it is making contact with the CPU.Anyone have any ideas, tips, tricks, thoughts, etc? Thanks again!Does anyone have any tricks to this |
