| Hey guys. In my computer, I had two HDD. One SATA and one IDE. I have a dvdrw/cdrw combo, so only one disk drive, and it is SATA as well. I want to remove the IDE HDD, but when I do, and the IDE cord isn't connected to anything, the computer will not start. I built the computer, and have a good understanding of the BIOS, hardware, ect. When I boot up, I get the CLIENT MAC ADDR: and then numbers. I tried the following, all of which resulting in a DISK FAILURE PLEASE INSERT CD:Disabled FastbootDisabled Boot Other DevicesDisabled Boot LANPlease help, I'm sure it is a simple fix!EDIT:Specs::Core 2 Duo 3.00GHz E8400eVGA 750i8gb ddr2 |
