I have a a8n sli deluxe mother board with a 3800 amd x2 processor..I have a video card go bad and it fried the motherboard. I bought the same exact mother board and I tried to hook it up and the green light on the board comes on but the psu fan sputters and the 120mm fan sputters. I tried different psu and it comes up the same. Does this mean the processors bad too??Thats the only thing that i kept from the other motherboard..I know the psu's work because I put them in old computers and they come up fine. I have tried a 500, 550, and a 575 psu. That should be enough power to supply a 8800gt with to hd and to diskdrives??This has really baffled me so, thanks for your time
