Default Leadtek TV Card Problem

Hi, I hope this is the appropriate forum for this query...I recently installed a Leadtek DTV2000H PCI tv card into my pc. Previously I was using a Hauppauge USB stick which worked flawlessly. The reason I chose the leadtek card was because it has a composite video in which would allow me to connect a playstation viewable on the PC monitor. The problem with the leadtek card however is that certain channels seem to suffer from stuttering. Audio is fine but video skips. This only happens on the ITV channel group, so all the ITV channels suffer to some extent and the channel 4 services are also similar. I have the latest drivers and software downloaded from the leadtek website. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I don't really want to have to buy another card as ones with video in seem to be expensive, but if this isn't fixable, then would there be a problem running 2 tv cards in one machine, as I have spare PCI slots so could always use the leadtek card for playstaion use and install another cheap no frills card for tv playback. On that note can anyone recommend a cheap but reliable one? Thanks in advance.
