| Hello, I'm new to the forum so be gentle on me. I bought the Wester Digital Passport 160gb Harddrive for my DVD/Nav car audio system. The Unit provide 5volts at 500mA of power to the harddrive however this is not enough power to get the spindles spinning on start up. Does anyone have any suggestions on some type of external USB power supply for a car audio application? I do not want use a cigarette lighter so some other form of power that I can connect to the USB cable. Thank you, -ATX350 |
