| Sorry if this is already solved, but I can't get search to work.I have a 2.5" SATA external Usb hard drive. It didn't come formatted and is RAW. I have tried formatting it in both My Computer and Disk management, but neither have worked. DOS won't work because the drive isn't formatted but RAW. Every time I try to quick format it fails right away. But if I do regular format it just takes forever and fails at the last minute. I have tried deleting and recreating the partitions. I ran HD tune on it, no detectable problems. I don't get it. It is a Seagate in a 2.5 usb enclosure. I should have known ebay would be a mistake. They said it would come formatted too. Help please. |
