I recently bought a brand new 120GB Toshiba internal
hard drive to replace my 60GB Western Digital
hard drive in my laptop. I downladed a programme called HDClone which allowed me to clone my old
hard drive to the new Toshiba hard drive. I put the new toshiba drive into an enclosure and booted up with the boos disk HDClone created and the programme then copied my old
hard drive to the new hard drive. When it was finished I put my Toshiba drive into my laptop and it booted fine. Except when I go into my computer it tells me that the drive is the dame size as my old one. Tried looking on the internet for a solution but couldn't find anything. My old
hard drive still had everythin installed on it so I put that back into my laptop and put the Toshiba back into the enclosure. I then formatted the Toshiba through my computer but it still tells me its only 60GB. Sorry this is a bit wordy but any help is much appreciated. If you need any specific information about my laptop I'm sure I can find it for you.
