| Hi ThereI have previously posted on another forum on here but couldnt finally get my answer so thought I would try this one.Im selling my Packard Bell istart 2311 and want to obviously wipe the hard drive before I sell. I have been told DBan is the way to completely do it but thi wipes the OS also. Now I obviously want to sell the computer with its OS and have been told to make the recovery disc. My question is basically can I just use the destructive recovery to wipe hard drive completly and instal OS again or is it better to use Dban. The only reason I am worried is because I have been told the partition recovery part of teh HD will have to be intact and I dont know whether Dban will do this.Any help would be greatly appreciated. P.S. Any chance of a giude price on a Packard Bell istart. With 4 months warranty left. 19 TFT screen, keyboard and wireless internet USB dongle. Thanks guysChris |
