Default HDD shown working properly at device manager but cannot autoplay

Hi all, I have one 3.5" Barracuda SATA 7200.10 ext HDD and in last few days, suddenly when i powered it up, it cannot be detected and then autoplay in Windows environment. I tried many ways to rootcause it by using SeaTools (seagate troubleshooting tools) but end up many tests can't be run. HDD can be shown as USB mass storage device, at device manager windows, it also shown as USB mass storage device, BIOS can detect it too, the problem is it cannot be autoplay and also cannot be viewed at windows explorer. Model Number and also firmware version also cannot be viewed. The only resort i can think of are either send to data recovery service center which might cost me few hundred bucks or send back to get replacement unit but I care more on the data inside. Another question is on another HDD, HDD can be seen at windows explorer with correct partition but I cannot format it in any ways, what is the problem with this HDD?
